Sumitomo Riko to exhibit at the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo

Sumitomo Riko Co., Ltd (Headquarters: Nakamura-ku, Nagoya; President & CEO: Kazushi Shimizu) will exhibit at the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE 2026), which will be held at China International Exhibition Center (Beijing, China) from June 22 to 26.

Booth Design

The Sumitomo Riko Group will showcase products in the booth presented by Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President & COO: Osamu Inoue) at the Expo. Under the theme “Rooted in China, Opening up the Future”, the booth will showcase leading-edge products and technologies in our core areas of Digital & AI, Energy, and Mobility. These innovations will contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society, the advancement of high-speed digital infrastructure, and the advancement of electric and smart vehicles.

The Group plans to display various products at the Expo: The thermal management solutions on show will include Finesulight™ (a thin-film thermal insulation material), Refleshine™ (a heat-reflecting and insulating film for windows), and automotive window film. We also plan to showcase an information and communications technology product, COOLDC™, which is a liquid-cooling hose for data centers.

＞＞Thin Film High Thermal Insulation Material: Finesulight
Using polymer material technology, we have developed a coating technology for silica aerogel (highly insulating filler). When coated on base material such as non-woven fabrics and molding resins, it exhibits higher thermal insulation than still air. It enhances the heating effect of mobility cabin spaces and heat source equipment, improves fuel and energy efficiency, and contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions.

＞＞Window films reflecting and insulating against heat: Refleshine
This window film keeps heat from sunshine out in summer (heat shielding) and stops indoor heat from escaping in winter (heat insulation). It offers over 99% UV protection and maintains safety if the glass breaks, improving comfort year-round near the windows and contributing to savings in air-conditioning power.

＞＞Automotive Window Film
By attaching this product to automobile glass, it provides the effects of heat shielding and UV blocking. By uniformly dispersing transparent conductive material, the film ensures both visibility while driving and a heat shielding function that absorbs heat(near-infrared rays) from the sun, thereby contributing to improved cabin comfort and reduced air-conditioning load. The product has been used in approximately 250,000 vehicles in Southeast Asia (Malaysia).

>>Liquid-Cooling Hose for Data Centers: COOLDC
Using technologies cultivated through many years of supplying automotive and industrial hoses to customers, Sumitomo Riko has developed a water-cooling hose that addresses thermal-management challenges in data centers. Aside from offering flexibility, flame resistance, and long service life, the hose minimizes internal pressure loss when bent and is exceptionally clean internally, which contributes to achieving efficient cooling.
